Iamena Destination Cities Index offers a ranking of countries of origin of international tourists for the MENA region, as well as their preferred destinations by country or territory.
This year, tourists from the United States take first place in the pack; they are followed by the Chinese from mainland China, the Germans, the English and the French.
Travel from the entire Benelux and Scandinavian region also showed a strong increase: Holland and Belgium, which were not in the top 10 ten years ago, moved up to sixth and tenth respectively.
